Dethaching
Over time unbagged grass clippings, twigs, dead leaves, create what’s known as the thatch layer. The thatch layer can prevent the flow of water, nutrients, and oxygen. A heavy thatch layer can also choke out the surrounding turfgrass, as well as encourage disease and pests. Dethatching is what it sounds like; the removal from a lawn of a thatch layer that is too thick.
Aeration
When solid becomes compacted due to food traffic and weathering. Core Aeration service includes using specialized equipment to pull cores/plugs out of the compacted turf soil. This provides water, nutrients, and oxygen a way to more easily and evenly enter into the soil. This allows your turfgrass to grow thicker, deeper, stronger root systems resulting in a beautiful lawn.
Overseeding
When completed immediately following aeration, Overseeding gives your seed the best chance to germinate and best chance for your lawn to grow thick and lush. Service includes heavily and evenly applying specific preferred premium grass seed or premium seed blend directly onto existing turf which improves the uniformity density and color of turf.
Topdressing
This premium lawn renovation service involves the surface application of topsoil, sand, peat moss, manure, and/or compost over turf depending on needs of the lawn. This Service ideally pairs with overseeding/aeration, and is the final touch when it comes to lawn renovations. This service has so many benefits specifically: It can help with leveling unlevel sections of lawn, it adds nutrients to the soil, and most importantly it covers your grass seed and keeps it moist during germination.
